The 21st Century with all its environmental concerns has brought along with it sustainable practices in our professional as well as our personal lives. A conference based on living in a greener environment is taking place from the 6 to 8 September 2013 at the Durban Exhibition Centre. The closing date for the event closes on the 30 June 2013 for registrations as exhibiting space is limited.
Building a more Sustainable City (the municipality’s slogan) is a collective responsibility of all citizens. The Exhibition is therefore open to all sectors of society, namely business, non-profit organisations, government, state owned enterprises, schools and individuals to showcase their initiatives.
This exhibition will be an ideal platform for green businesses to display their sustainable efforts and a great way of involvement and learning about greener living Exhibitors can sell, network and showcase their products.
Key focus areas include:
• Energy efficiency and Renewal energy;
• Waste minimisation and recycling;
• Water harvesting and conservation;
• Food gardening;
• Climate change adaption and mitigation;
• Biodiversity protection;
• Green home improvement; and
• Creative arts.
