South Africa took centre stage as SALGA CEO, Xolile George, was recognised at the 2015 Titans- Africa awards ceremony.

These prestigious awards termed “Titans Building Nations”, were held at Vodaworld in Midrand and they are the male version of the “Most Influential Women in Business” awards presented by CEO Global Magazine.

SALGA CEO took home two awards, one being awarded as the Titan in Public Enterprises for our Country, South Africa, and the second as the Regional Winner/ Titan in Public Enterprises for the entire Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.

Men in Africa play a significant role in the sustainable development of the economy. In order to recognise their contribution, the Titans-Africa awards were launched. The awards recognises both outstanding leadership within the organisations the leaders serve in, as well their contribution outside of the workplace to the larger community.

The awards come at the pinnacle of SALGA’s successes over the past four years. Xolile George was also a finalist in the “Boss of The Year” Awards in 2013.

Having gone this far in the Titans Awards, George automatically goes through to the Titans Continental event to be held in South Africa in November 2015.
